Weekend reading: Links from around the web

Hello, everyone! Welcome to another installment of weekend reading ๐Ÿ™‚

This recipe for banana bread is really, really good. I came across it last week and made a loaf on Thursday night. It went down so well that there’s now no trace of it left in the house. I like that there’s no sugar or butter, and you can easily throw in blueberries, or chocolate chips (like I did) to mix it up.

These shoes are becoming a little bit of an issue for me. I keep seeing them everywhere and they’ve been sitting in my wishlist on NET-A-PORTER for months now. I’ve noticed they’re slowly selling out as certain sizes are out of stock, so they’ll be gone bye-bye pretty soon. To purchase or not to purchase? That is the question ๐Ÿ˜‰

Back to food. This ice-cream is currently ruining my healthy eating plans. It’s not even that unhealthy, I just can’t seem to stop myself once I pop the lid off. Nobรณ is an Irish brand (yay!) and all their ice creams are dairy, gluten and sugar-free. If you live in Dubai, you can find them (intermittently, mind) in Spinneys and Waitrose. They’re about AED70 a tub (not cheap) and I can vouch for pretty much all the flavours…

Next up is Jacey’s blog. She is a total style queen who I have followed for years, and I want pretty much everything she puts on her blog. She has also filmed a really cute series for her YouTube channel called Home Sweet Damsel which documents the total renovation of her house in the U.S., including a jaw-dropping peek into her wardrobe in Episode 6. Serious wardrobe goals, you guys.

Lastly, a bit of TV chat. I am currently unavailable on Wednesday nights due to new episodes of The Great British Bake Off and Our Girl. The former is an obvious one – who doesn’t love GBBO? The latter, however, is new and stars Michelle Keegan. I cringed through most of the first episode, loved the second and only cringed a little bit during the third. I can’t stop watching it because of Elvis, and Mich is rocking the best fake tan job I’ve ever seen. Both programs are on BBC, back-to-back, every Tuesday and magically appear on my catch-up box on Wednesday evening. Yay ๐Ÿ™‚

That’s all for now, thank you for dropping in. I hope you enjoyed my weekend reading ๐Ÿ™‚

To be honest they were going out of stock when I bought them Savannah, so your best bet might be to have a look on ShopStyle and they will search for any available places that are still selling them xx
