Flawless face products

For some unknown reason, all the stars aligned a few days ago and my face products began to working together seamlessly to cover and set everything. Woo!

I’ve been using Make Up For Ever Full Cover for some time now and I have to say, it’s astonishingly good. We’re talking full on, non creasing, long-lasting coverage. And recently when I was in Ireland, the MUA at Laura Mercier in BT’s on Grafton Street suggested I go for Beige Ivory in their Silk Creme Foundation to go with it. At first I thought it looked a little dark but once she applied it, oh my god – my skin looked so even I couldn’t believe it. Have I been using the wrong shade all along? Perish the thought 🙂

Then, along came Laura Mercier Mineral Powder in Natural Beige. A foundation phenomenon if there ever was one. It sets liquid foundation beautifully, reduces shine and adds even more undetectable cover on the skin. Amazeballs!

In between all of this I have been faithfully using Bourjois Happy Light Concealer to cover redness and other blemishes. It’s a damn good concealer, but I’ve blogged about it before so I won’t go on too much!

All of those smushed together have resulted in a damn good face of late, if I do say so myself! I feel like I have uncovered the flawless face secret. Who knew it would be a combination of MUFE, Laura Mercier and Bourjois? 🙂

Other stuff on my face in the above pic:

Charlotte Tilbury La Dolce Vita eyeshadow palette (sensational, but more on that another time)
Bobbi Brown Cream Shadow Stick in Bronze
L’Oreal Lash Architect Mascara
MAC Spiked Brow Pencil
No. 7 Pop & Glow Cream Blush in Rose Blossom

What are your flawless face products? Let me know!

I really want to try the Laura Mercier powder, I’ve been looking for a “finishing touch”-product for quite some time now!
I’m personally in love with the Too Faced primer (the one for sensitive skin), it’s so…photoshop-y, especially in combination with the bést foundation of all times: Nars Sheer Glow!
