So I got a new dress and I may or may not have worn it three times this week already.
I don’t actually wear a lot of dresses, believe it or not – I’m more of a separates girl. And by separates I mean a denim shirt with something else on the bottom 🙂
I found this on ASOS during my daily skim through. It was the name that caught my eye; Structured Skater Dress in Heavy Rib. I figured structured must mean it has a good shape, skater meant it was fit and flare style which generally works on me and heavy rib, well – I always feel ribbed pieces detract from any little lumps and bumps that might be on show.
Now, I’m going to try to not gush too much but basically, it’s just love. Like, real love. Love that comes in the form of a nipped and tucked waist, an overall streamlined looking bod and a dress that’s heavy enough that you feel like you’re wearing a quality piece of clothing.
I love the gentle swing to it too. Sooooo ladylike.
It comes in three colours; black, grey and white and I’m totally ordering another one. I don’t know which one yet but I don’t think it really matters. I mean, look how happy I am? 🙂
Other stuff I’m wearing; really old flats from Aldo, Prada Sunnies (which are on sale at Nordstrom) and a Philip Lim Pashli.
Hope you’re all having a lovely week!

S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G! Do I need this in my life?
May 1, 2014 at 10:53 pmI would say yes. It’s a bit of a classic I reckon 🙂
May 2, 2014 at 6:00 pmI have been eyeing this for awhile now. How’s the sizes like? I am between UK size 10-12. Will it be advisable to size up or down in your opinion? Thanks in advance 🙂
May 2, 2014 at 3:10 amI think the sizing is spot on. I’m a 12 and it fits perfectly. It’s most fitted around the arms, boobs and back and then it kind of skims the rest of the bod xx
May 2, 2014 at 6:02 pmVery nice! I have a thing for grey so shall definitely be checking out that version 😉
