Shiny Pretty Things

Yeah, more eyeshadow. I know. I should have called this blog Simone Loves Eyeshadow.

These beauties are my current favourites and I’ve got into a nice little rut with them recently. Bottom left is the newest addition, Idyllic by MAC from their Posh Paradise collection – and before you say it, yes I caved into buying something from yet another collection *sigh*. It goes on exactly as it looks in the pot; a deep burgundy brown with a hint of shimmer, very pretty and unlike anything else I currently own (thank god).

Top of the picture is an old favourite and probably the third or fourth pot I’ve bought of this. Constructivist, a smooth chocolate brown that always garners no end of compliments for some reason. Again, lovely to apply and easy to blend out. I particularly like this for daytime. Lastly, a new old favourite, (don’t you love rediscovering shades you had long forgotten about?) its Mythology, a reddish rusty gold perfect for a bit of daytime glitz – I’ve been mostly using it in the center of my eyelid on top of Idyllic.

I’ve just realised these are all from MAC, I don’t know how that happened. Ah well. Thoughts? Any of you using these at the moment?
