My Daily Face Routine

I’ve had a huge number of requests over the last couple of weeks to film my daily face routine. I was a little bit reluctant to do it as my skin is not in the best condition at the moment, but then I realised it’s not been in the best condition for quite some time. I am blessed, or cursed if you will, with incredibly sensitive, oily, acne prone skin so it’s taken me a long time to find a range of products – both makeup and skincare, that work for me and work with me as my skin changes.

Hopefully this will be of some interest to you guys. You can have a nose at all the products and tools I have been using recently and how I apply them.

I can identify with problem skin as an adult – soooo unfair!!! I have the red thang goin’ on too – grrrr!

Love the idea of extending the concealer out as a highlighter – going to try that!

I would TOTALLY recommend MAC Stereo Rose MSF as a blush… but it was limited edition. Mine’s just run out and I’ve moved onto Coralista but I would pay over the odds for another Stereo Rose, I love it soooo much!

Is that an Illamasqua brush you’re using for your powder?

    You look gorge! x

Thanks Alice, yeah its an Illamasqua Powder Brush – its pretty nice. Honestly I feel like a teenager with my skin and I’m in my late 20’s now!! Will totally check out Stereo Rose, I’ve become far too attached to Coralista! I think it’s because I’m wary of other blushes making my face look even more red 🙂

What shade of camouflage concealer do you use and would you use it to cover big areas of redness or would you suggest something elese e.g. green concealer?

    Thank you beforehand!

I’m using SC-2 at the moment, although it’s a teeny bit on the pale side for me at the moment. It works really well at covering redness so I usually just use it on its own for that 🙂 xx

I deffo think the blue vein thing is in our delightfully annoying Irish skin!! I have it too, so do many of my friends who are pale-ish. I hate it!!
