What better way to calm myself down in the middle of packing up my life then a nice soothing blog post? Indeed. First of all, lets just marvel at how pretty and different this beauty from Origins is. I love the packaging and the colour of the mask, not to mention that there’s charcoal in it, yes that’s right – charcoal.
I need another face mask like a hole in the head these days, so I entirely place the blame for this purchase on Sinead from Viva Adonis, she’s such an enabler and doesn’t even feel bad about it! Tsk. Anyways, I digress. This mask promises to deep clean pores with it’s groovy charcoal activated action and let me tell you – it works! I’ve used it a handful of times now and have not only noticed a significant reduction in blackheads and so on that usually reside around the nose area, but a general reduction of pore visibility levels. They seem much less obvious and so clean! On top of that, my inner 14 year old just loves using this. I splash my face with warm water to open the pores, apply generous amounts of this on my nose, chin and forehead and leave it to sink it and dry. About 15 minutes later, it’s rock solid and I rinse off with more warm water.
On the Origins website it says this mask “shakes off the shroud of dullness” and to be honest, that’s the perfect description of how my skin looks and feels after it’s been rinsed off. It cost 20GBP online from Boots and I can’t recommend it enough!
