The cold vs. new lipstick

MAC Dreaming Dahlia lipstick

Our holiday at home has finally come to an end, and although I successfully managed to kick the colds ass for the last two weeks, I feel like it’s now kicking mine.

I woke up this morning looking and feeling pretty awful. Runny nose, the whole works. Damn you cold weather! Thankfully, today had already been selected as ‘the day I would wear my new lipstick’ so not everything took a nosedive. The new lipstick in question is a bit of a stonker. It’s from the MAC A Fantasy of Flowers collection and it’s called Dreaming Dahlia. If, like me, you have spent an inordinate amount of time looking for a juicy orange/coral lipstick that’s hydrating with a lustre finish and lasts quite a long time – this is it.

I think it’s going to be my lipstick of the summer. And by summer I mean as soon as I get back to Dubai because the bloody summer has arrived early! 35 degrees how are ya.

Anyways, that’s all for now. I’m off to blow my nose and make some soup 🙂
