My mom is here on holidays at the moment so we decided to introduce her to the phenomenon that is Friday brunch in Dubai. We went to Mazina in The Address Hotel in Dubai Marina which is a really nice, relaxing brunch. It’s pretty chilled, not overcrowded and the food is good. The mojito’s were pretty yummy too!
I wore this shirt dress from ASOS, which I bought a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been waiting for the right moment to wear it – it didn’t feel right for work for some reason and I thought it was too nice to wear for just lounging around the house at the weekend. I paired it with my trusty gladiators from Zara (which you can see in this post) , a leopard print clutch from ASOS that I got a long time ago and a shiny new bracelet from Topshop. The dress is a very light material with an elasticated waist so it’s pretty comfortable to wear. It was literally too hot to wear anything heavier. When Laura and I came in off the terrace from taking these pics, we were sweating profusely – even though we had been outside less than five minutes. I was prancing around like a loon for some of the pictures which is why I look a bit silly/smug in the first shot – it’s the only one that came out half decent. Typical, eh?
Also, I got my nails done with Essie Lacquered Up again the other day, which you can see in the pics. It’s definitely my current favourite shade. I think I’m going to become a bit boring and wear it all the time 🙂
That’s it for now, nothing else exciting to report. Hope you are all having a lovely weekend!
