The full name is actually Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum but I couldn’t deal with a post title like that. Serum’s and I didn’t get along for quite awhile until I found, fell in love with a subsequently used up Kiehl’s Powerful Strength Line Reducing Complex (what’s with the long names?) I’ve recently run out and instead of repurchasing immediately I decided to give this fun-sized offering from Caudalie a go first. It came in a recent Glossybox, the ‘natural’ one which was the month of April I think? I could be wrong on this.
I’ve heard lot’s of good thing’s about Caudalie of late and having never tried anything from their range I was excited to slap this on. It’s apparently suitable for all skin types but specifically aim’s to hydrate dry/dehydrated skin. Now, I don’t have dry skin – it’s more on the oily side, but it has been quite dehydrated of late so this sounded perfect.
It smell’s fresh and a little bit fruity, like oranges. The texture is extremely light, although a little bit runny, and melts easily into the skin (a small pea-sized amount is enough to cover the face and so I would imagine a small bottle lasting quite some time). After a few days use, my skin was noticeably more hydrated, to the point that it was a little bit more oily then usual. I didn’t mind this to be honest as it did what it said it would do, hydrate my dehydrated skin. I plan to use this when my skin needs a boost and may purchase the full size depending on how my skin acts in the next few months. I do however, think this would be really amazing for people with dry/very dry skin. On the back of this and because of Anna from Vivianna Does Makeup’s rave reviews, I recently purchased their Beauty Elixir and will waiting with glee to try this out also. Both the serum and the Beauty Elixir are available from Feel Unique and the price point is not too bad at all, always an added bonus!
Anyone using any of their product’s at the moment? I feel like this is a range I could really get into so we’ll see how things go!
