Nicosia, Cyprus

As you know, I was in Cyprus recently for a city break. We stayed in the beautiful walled capital city of Nicosia; a place steeped in history with dinky little cobble stone streets, cafe’s and of course, shops! One of the shops I innocently wandered into was called Glow, a beauty store chock full of familiar hair and beauty brands and some not so familiar brands, like the one above; Erre Due.

Erre Due is a Greek cosmetics line that offers seriously beautiful makeup. I fell in love with Wet & Dry Sparkler Shadows. Very similar to MAC Mineralize shadows, very pigmented, available in a heap of shades that apply fabulous dry but even more fabulous wet.

A lot of products from the line caught my eye but unfortunately, although not overpriced the products are not cheap either. The eyeshadows cost 11 euro each for 2 grams of product. These three shades were my favourite; 464, a shimmery jewel toned black purple, 429 a medium toned jewel green and 426, a very light shimmery gold. Have any of you tried Erre Due Cosmetics before?

I made a few other purchases whilst I was there but this was (shockingly) the only makeup related one! Here’s a few pictures from my hols…

Ooh Simone would you do a look with the purple or the emerald one, it’s a stunner isn’t it!
I got a bronzey golden brown from this collection, it’s absolutely amazing, especially for the summer months <3

By the way they're around 8 euro in Greece, which is a bit more fair a price.

I am not really adventurous with foundations as I do tend to break out a lot so I generally play it safe and I don’t experiment, so no idea about their skin products :/
They do make wonderful mineralized/baked blushes (I think they’re Wet & Dry sparkler twins if I’m not mistaken) though and ridiculously creamy eyeliners in gazillions of colours, as well as cute nail polish.
They do have a website, do try try brandname dot gr.

Not a bad idea Nic! I contacted Erre Due when I got back and it’s definitely only available in Cyprus & Greece, I should have bought more!
