No. 7 Spring Collection

I finally got my hands on a few pieces from the No.7 Spring Collection this week! Very excited to sample this since I heard about it last year and happily, it does not disappoint.

Here are the lipsticks from the collection; Brigette and Grace. I absolutely love both of them, which is rare for me as I usually stick with the same 2 or 3 shades I have been using for years. They are both gorgeous wearable colours that go on so smoothly. Brigette is a lovely bright pink that goes on quite sheer and Grace is a a slightly deeper coral shade. Both have a slightly glossy finish.

Both colours are nicely pigmented and really lovely to apply and feel very moisturising, they also last quite a while. I also LOVE the packaging, bonus!

I also picked up the gel liner in turquoise. It’s also available in Black and Navy but I have a particular weakness for all things turqoise. I have to say this liner has really impressed me. I wore it today for 15 hours on a shoot in the desert and I was also blown from pillar to post in the harbour and it didn’t budge once!! It’s incredibly pigmented and goes on exactly how it looks in the pot. Check out the swatch below.

There are a couple of other lovely products in the collection which you can check out here, but be warned they are selling like hot cakes so try and get your mitts on them fast!

Overall, a great collection and as always quite affordable.

    >I love the look of the liners, tested them in Boots the other day and they're lovely. Unfortunately, I don't "do" turquoise because I have green eyes, it always washes them out and makes them look dull. Wish there was a violet as well!

    >Found the review – like the look of the eyeliner very much, I am a bit of a snob when it comes to No7 and equate them with my granny's old powder compacts, but if the Grace lipstick I have is a sign of how far this brand has moved on, then I will definately be buying more. Thanks for this Simone. Jan x
