Mid-week musings

Tom and Serg coffee

Really deep stuff, like cutting my hair and shopping on ASOS.Nothing new then, eh? πŸ™‚

I think I’ve decided that I want to cut my hair again because I’ve seen lots of amazing asymmetrical bob cuts on Pinterest. That’s a good reason to do it, right? This one is my favourite. I’m also half-thinking of dyeing my hair fire-engine red again. Because why not? Am I a bit cray? Probably.

I had a ‘When ASOS Orders Go Right’ moment last week. This sweater and these jeans. Let’s start with the latter, the jeans are OMG perfect. Sucky and tucky, mid-wash slightly ripped denim and comfortable as hell. Nice bit of stretch going on and they sit above the hip-bone but could not be described as high-rise. Here’s a terrible Twitter selfie to ilustrate. Now, the sweater – super soft, slouchy-in-the-right-places, cotton. And it’s black. Nuff’ said.

I filmed a monthly favourites video yesterday which I will upload tomorrow – I’m early for once, because I’m going on holidays this weekend! Beyond excited, BEYOND. And I’m going to do a holiday vlog. Because I’m going to Paris!!! That deserved three exclamation marks for sure. Naturally, I plan to buy all the things in Paris. What these things are I do not know, but I will be buying all of them. Sephora and all the French pharmacies here I come! (And copious amounts of red wine, baguettes and chocolate).

Speaking of buying all the things, I went a bit nuts in Sephora last week. You can watch my wee haul video here. I bought mainly bases, because I need more of them… (that’s a lie). I like the Chanel stuff so far, that’s all I’ll say. It’s spendy but good.

I am going for my first Essie Gel Manicure on Friday. I am ridiculously excited about this. I was lucky enough to interview Gino Trunzo, Essie’s Director of Education recently and he told me that they have launched 36 shades in the Middle East (there are 76 in the US already) and they will be adding to them all the time, having the odd gel shade or two in their normal collections. Yay!

That’s all for now, bit of a random post I know but you know what they say, when the mood takes you and all that… πŸ™‚
