I carry a range of different fake eyelashes in my kit. They vary from individuals to strips, to crazy and dramatic lashes.
Of late, my go-to brand for lashes is MAC, as the selection is decent although they’re a little expensive! I’m slowly trying add more INGLOT lashes as they have an amazing selection but again, they’re not cheap.
The bottom picture show lashes that I carry in my kit at all times; 2 or 3 trays of individual eyelashes, which are the most popular, and a bunch of different full strips from MAC. I don’t change the styles I carry that much as most jobs call for some form of natural looking lashes.
I also have a couple of boxes of plastic lashes which I picked up in Thailand and Singapore. These are great for photoshoots, concept shoots or anyone who wants lashes with a bit more va-va voom! A whole tray of these (below) set me back about 2.5BD (5 euro) so I snapped up quite a few of them! The downside to cheap lashes is their longevity and obviously the quality, not as easy to apply and the strip root is normally a little bit too thick, so I often trim it.
I have a selection of crazy lashes which I keep at home, but not in my kit as I use these the least. Most of them are from Make Up For Ever or Ardell. I use eyelash glue and tweezers to apply all lashes, with DUO Eyelash Adhesive being my glue of choice.
