This weekend we took Charlie out for some breakfast in a super cool little cafe called Book Munch in Al Wasl Square that doubles up as a bookstore. He’s quite into books at the moment, he likes pointing at the pictures and listening to them being read to him in a sing-song voice. This, coupled with the fact that he just loves eating, made it the best morning ever.
Before we got into the books, we had a little wander around the cafe and salivated over all the amazing food on offer. The pastries in particular were to die for, they tasted just as good as they looked. Charlie inhaled the majority of a blueberry muffin before his breakfast of eggs and toast was even put on the table. And as soon as he was done, well – we were all done! He sat down in the book reading area and got involved with a book called ‘That’s not my tractor’. The husband thought this was massively appropriate as he’s from farming stock back at home, ha! He liked it so much that we bought it for him and it has now replaced ‘That’s not my dinosaur’ in his affections.
In other news, I had hair dilemma’s over the weekend what with the colour growing out and so on so it ended up in a bun on top of my head and it’s still there right now. I’ve decided that as much as I love the red, it’s just too high maintenance so I’m going to see Anthony on Monday for a change (again). He has suggested we go nuts altogether and crop it short along with a new colour but I don’t know how I feel about that… we’ll see! Hair today, gone tomorrow, eh? That seems to be my motto these days! Hope you are all having a lovely weekend ๐
