This has been sitting in a drawer in my makeup room for the last couple of weeks because although I like Une, my experience with Garnier’s BB Cream put me off trying more “new versions” for awhile. Hardship over, (ha!) I started using this over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised.
It’s a smooth texture that feels lovely both on the skin and to apply. A cream to powder formulation that doesn’t turn completely to powder is always nice as you avoid that chalky feeling on the skin. The coverage is medium and surprisingly opaque, it covers the majority of my blemishes, feel’s nice and smooth on the skin but not oily and it’s buildable, which is a bonus. It comes in typical Une packaging, a sleek compact with a removable mirror. The brush that comes with it is nice and dense but too small to be used efficiently all over the face.
Une says that it has adjustable coverage with an imperceptable finish and offers an all in one skincare-infused formula that lets skin breath and provides 8 hours of moisture and a long term radiance effect. I would agree that it lets skin breath and I do think it provides a dewy/smooth radiant finish however, 8 hours of moisture? No, and let’s be honest is it really a BB cream? It’s not offering anything out of the ordinary or a formulation that you can’t get from other foundations. It’s not even offering SPF, which is the hallmark of BB creams. What I will say is that its a very very nice cream foundation, fabulous on the skin and a re-purchase after I’ve used it all is a definite possibility.
Anyone else tried this?
