I get a lot of emails about the print work I have done asking what products did I use, how did I get the look, what’s in my kit etc. So, I thought I would do a quick post showing you a shoot I did using very little makeup, which can be easily replicated.
3 Product Photoshoot
The heat was major, around 35 degree’s on this particular day. It was tough going. Melissa Yeo was the model, she is something of a celebrity in Singapore. An absolute pleasure to work with and as you can see from the pictures, totally stunning.
For this look I used 3 products; a black kohl pencil, Makeup For Ever HD foundation and MAC Cream Colour Base in Hush.
Melissa has fabulous skin and an amazing bone structure so very little work was needed.
I applied the foundation all over with a stippling brush, patted the cream colour base on her lips and also blended it into the high points of her cheekbones. The kohl pencil was used heavily all over the lid, on the inner rim and underneath the lower lash line. I blended it out with a soft round brush and pulled it out to the edge of her eyebrows. She had lash extensions at the time, so I just brushed them through with a disposable wand.
The shoot took about 45 minutes after the hair and makeup was done, so I used some blotting paper on her once, but that was the extent of it!
