Hair happenings

I’ve been wearing my hair like this for the last couple of weeks, almost everyday I would say. Why? Well it’s getting to the stage where my hair is starting to annoy me and as we’ve learned from previous hair musings, this is never good.

I’m writing this post is an effort to not do what I usually do which is land into my hairstylist on the spur of the moment and instruct him to cut it all off/dye it a different colour/add bangs/do all of the aforementioned. I always want long hair when it’s short and I always want short hair when it’s long, anyone else like that? It’s always the same. My hair can almost be described as long now and so we’re bang on time for an unplanned overhaul/freakout. I’m thinking something like this, or this or even this.

Notice how all of them are also ombre’d? Yep, still have that trend in a vice like grip as I just love it so much. I’m thinking of going down the extreme ombre route though, maybe something like this? It’s so so fabulous, but I don’t know if I can carry off blonde blonde. I certainly couldn’t when I was 16 anyways. Whoops! So there we are, a potential hair disaster coming to a computer screen near you…

Any suggestions?!

I can never decided if I want long or short hair either! I really love Olivia’s long ombre bob though, so stylish. The last photo is amazing too x

You definitely pull off the 3 first hairstyles (not sure about the 4th, but I dislike such artificial blonde and it’s just me I suppose), I have been wearing mine exactly like #1 for the past year and I adore it, I also think this will be my 50s-60s haircut.

However, If I had to/could choose for you, I would definitely go with style #3, I think it has Simone written all over it 🙂 It’s easy to style and it will compliment your features in a lovely way. Go for it Simone!

I am going to say DON’T CUT YOUR HAIR! It’s a gorgeous length…HOWEVER, if the urge is strong, my vote is for Olivia Palermo or the third, wavy bob and nix Fearne Cotton and the extreme ombré! S x

I’m with ya on the always wanting what I don’t have thing! Though I’m forcing myself to resist the urge to chop again as I’m DETERMINED to get my long locks back AND in decent condition too! I love your hair as it is now but any of those hairstyles would look great on you! x

I always throw my hair into a bun! It’s the easiest, fastest and safest way for my curly hair (which looks like nothing more than crap when I wake up..)
You should go for the Olivia Palmero hairstyle, love it!

P.S: don’t cut your hair too short, you’ll regret it. Did it once, regret it until today. And yes, when I finally managed to have long hair again, I was jealous of people with short hair.

    Good luck!

don’t do anything drastic, think it out for a few weeks and make sure you feel comfortable.
