Just a quick little post about the latest addition to my skincare arsenal.
If you’re familiar with Clinique Cleansing Balm, of which I have sung praises for some time, then be prepared for something that is slightly similar but marginally better.
The texture of this is just gorgeous, buttery soft and seriously lovely when massaged into the skin. It’s damn effective at removing makeup and leaves the skin soft and plump however, it’s not that great at removing eye makeup and does sting the eyes a teeny tiny bit. This isn’t a big issue for me though as I always use a separate eye makeup remover.
Aside from all the good bits mentioned above, the sheer luxury of this is what gets me and I’m really enjoying using it. The smell, texture and feel of it on the skin just ooze I’m-having-a-spa-treatment-in-my-own-home. Although it’s a bit spendy at nearly 40 quid from ASOS, it is nearly Christmas, right? Self gifting is all the rage these days. That’s what I keep telling myself anyways 🙂
