There’s nothing better than having a high-end makeup day and pulling out some of your more expensive items. In my case, it was some of my Chanel makeup and the reason behind it? Well, I woke up feeling like I needed to stick toothpicks between my eyelids to keep them open. No amount of cold water splashing and refreshing mists was going to revive this sleepy mug of mine so there was nothing else for it but a bit of luxury!
I used my current favourite bronzer; Sable Beige from the Summertime de Chanel collection, along with En Vogue lippie from the same collection. A nice light application of Vita Lumiere Aqua Foundation, some Mat Lumiere pressed powder to set it and I finished off the look with Illusoire shadow, a divine metallic purple that never seems to run out. I used a little bit of Purple Sapphire kohl pencil from Laura Mercier to add a little definition around the lashes and then applied two coats of L’Oreal Architect 4D mascara. Et voila!, a certain level of fabulosity was returned and all was right with the world once more…
