Kate’s second lipstick collection for Rimmel has recently hit the shelves and I’m happy to say that once again, it’s a really good one. The collection offers 5 new shades with a matte finish, but not your regular matte finish – a nice, juicy comfortable texture that feels amazing on the lips. It doesn’t cling to any dry patches and lasts a decent amount of time without drying up which is apparently all down to the new enriched formula. The packaging is basically the same as last time but Mossy decided the colours should be reversed for this one. Cool, eh?
I’ve been mooning over two of the shades; 102, a lovely rose toned pink shade that’s very natural on the lips and I’m sure will appeal to nude and almost nude lipstick fans, and 112, a deep almost burgundy toned brown that is beyond perfect for the season that’s in it. When I saw this initially in the bullet I didn’t think it would be for me but it’s gorgeous on, very flattering and striking without being too dramatic and the perfect complement to a neutral eye.
The collection is available on all Rimmel stands now and the lipsticks are priced nicely at 39AED (8e/6GBP). Supremely purse friendly I think you’ll agree, one might even go out and purchase the entire collection…!

Great review! I really want to pick up 112, but it looks like they aren’t releasing that color here in the U.S.
I really love the # 111 Kiss of Life. it makes me feel gorgeous… And mattes’s are my favorite.
