I don’t even know why I’m bothering to blog about this lipstick. Yes, I fell into a state of complete lust when I clapped my eyes on it and immediately had to have it BUT… how many times have I worn it since then? Twice, and both times as a stain. Why? Not really sure.

The pigmentation is nice, it’s a little bit dry in texture and it smell’s a little funny. At first, I thought it was expired so I brought it to my local Bobbi Brown store who informed me that a) they ‘couldn’t help me as it wasn’t available here yet’ and b) that it wasn’t gone off. Interesting and helpful (?), I know. I’ve half convinced myself it has expired so maybe that’s not why I’m loving it ‘big-time’, as I used to say when I was about 15.

Here’s a picture and a swatch below. For some reason it looked like a dark red when I photographed it against white, so I had to stick it amongst a pile of stuff on my makeup table to get it to look somewhat true to life.

And there we are. Anyone think it’s a bit meh? Maybe I’m losing my lipstick mojo again. I go through phases of being obsessed with wearing statement lippy and then phases of pretty much a slick of lipbalm. If any of you lovely people bought this, tell me if your’s smells funny.
